As reported by TheChristianPost:
Prayer is essential to the life of a believer, and this spring United Cry DC16 is an event that hopes to inspire 30,000 believers to come together to pray for the well-being of the nation.
Just as there is strength in numbers, there is strength in those who come together to pray and seek Christ, as evidenced by Matthew 18:20: “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”
That biblical principle is one of the driving forces behind United Cry DC16, a gathering intended to move people to pray for America’s future.
“Our nation is in crisis right now,” said the event’s founder, Lewis Hogan, to The Christian Post. “But my answer to that crisis is that we’re not without hope. Joel 2 is our response to the state that we find ourselves in right now, and it begins with prayer.”
Hogan believes that many of the country’s negative circumstances can begin to turn around when the nation’s spiritual leaders come together in unity and prayer.
He went on to say, “Only a united Church can help heal a divided nation. There is hope for America and prayer can make a difference.”

P.S. Because of the impact and powerful message of this photo I’ll post it below as well. Also, although it calls on 30,000 pastor to gather and pray for America’s future, I call ALL believers to not only pray for America’s future, but to also gather and pray for the disciples, believers, and followers of God and Jesus during these tough tough times with persecution going on, famine increasing, more difficulty in getting a job nowadays, sexual immorality being seen as normal more and more, those dealing with any type of disease, sickness, etc. I also call on all believers to have faith, and continue to have faith no matter what your going through, good or bad. Also, to pray for unbelievers to come to Jesus Christ to be saved. In Jesus name I pray, amen. Nevertheless, stay safe everyone, and God bless!
