A young Filipino girl, named Jenny, who is 5-years-old helps her father who is blind by guiding him to work with a stick everyday.
This five-year-old girl, Jenny (pictured) is guiding her blind father to work on a coconut farm in the Philippines.
The girl’s father Nelson Pepe, also known as ‘Dodong’, works on a coconut farm in the Philippines for around $9 a day. He earns that amount by climbing up to 60 coconut trees on the farm. Jenny happily helps her father go to work, as well as come back home.
‘Dodong’ (pictured) and his daughter took a short break from walking, and begin drinking a bottle of water before Dodong goes to work.
The video was captured by Rhuby Capunes and uploaded to her Facebook page on June 10. It has since had over 2 million views.
The footage shows Jenny holding one end of a long stick as her father holds the other, as they are both walking barefoot to go to the coconut farm.
After the video gained international attention the ABS-CBN Foundation visited Mr Pepe and Jenny in the Philippines.
The foundation hopes to relocate the family to a safer environment.
